This stylish apartment for 10 guests (eight adults) is one of two that have been carefully created in this old farm building, just minutes from the slopes in the peaceful Gotty area of La Clusaz. Both of the apartments are completely independent.
You can walk to the Piste de l'Envers, just 350m away, and the ski bus stops 100m away.
In the summer, there are fabulous walks from your doorstep, and the centre of La Clusaz is just a walk or cycle away (1.5km). There you'll find a great selection of bars, restaurants and shops.
Whenever you decide to visit this stylish apartment, you'll find plenty to keep you busy. And when you return to your chalet at the end of the day, you can relax in the sauna or on the sunny terrace, or perhaps get together to watch a film in the cinema room.
Groups of up to 24 people can book this apartment with Chalet Backflip on the second floor, which also sleeps 10, and the separate Chalet Sideflip, which sleeps four.
IMPORTANT: The Frontflip rental is in a chalet consisting of two flats, in a residential area. To preserve the comfort of all and respect the neighbourhood, parties are not allowed on the property. This rental is better suited for families. Thank you for your understanding.
About the property ...
The stylish Chalet Frontflip is on the ground and first floors of this former farm building, and has four bedrooms and four shower rooms.
As you enter on the ground floor, you'll find the double garage and a ski room with a heated boot rack. There's also a sauna and shower room on this level.
Take the stairs up to the first floor, and into the large open-plan living area. There's a cosy seating area with a corner sofa and chairs arranged around the TV and the pellet wood burner - it's the perfect place to get together after dinner for a chat, or perhaps to plan your next day in the mountains.
A large dining table with room for everyone to eat together links this space to the fully-equipped kitchen, which has everything you need to rustle up a hearty meal for a hungry crowd. If you'd prefer to eat outside, doors lead on to a large wraparound terrace, with a dining table and a barbecue.
Chalet Frontflip has four bedrooms, including two double bedrooms which have doors on to their own terraces. One of these bedrooms also has an en suite shower room. There's another double bedroom and a children's room with two sets of bunk beds - these rooms share a shower room, which is accessible from the living area. There's also a separate WC and another shower room.
About the area ...
La Clusaz is an authentic mountain village which blends tradition with up-to-date facilities. Its traditional chalets and lively streets offer a vibrant setting with Savoyard charm. Nestled in the heart of the Aravis massif, it is only 30 min from Annecy and close to Le Grand-Bornand and Manigod. Its warm atmosphere and easy accessibility make it a popular destination year-round.
In winter, the resort provides easy access to the Aravis ski area, offering 210km of pistes that combine long descents and technical sectors across La Clusaz, Le Grand-Bornand, Manigod, and Saint-Jean-de-Sixt. The region also offers a variety of winter activities, including cross-country skiing, dog sledding, sledging, snow biking, ice diving and ice skating.
During the rest of the year, numerous hiking and biking trails lead to superb views over the Aravis, such as the Plateau des Glières. The village boasts a modern watersports centre providing activities for all ages and a wellbeing area. The nearby Lake Annecy is another great place for swimming, paddleboarding, and sailing. Other summer activities include via ferrata, climbing and paragliding, leaving you with a wealth of memories to take home.

Chalet Frontflip is a four-bedroom, four bathroom apartment for up to 10 guests.
The location, opposite the chapel in the Gotty area of La Clusaz, is perfect for skiers in the winter, as it's just 350m from the nearest slope and the ski bus stops 100m away. Chalet Frontflip is just as convenient in the summer, when you can hike or bike into the Aravis mountains, or stroll into La Clusaz to visit the market, pick up some shopping or enjoy a meal in one of the many restaurants.
The majority of the accommodation is on the first floor of the building. We love the ground floor ski room, home cinema and sauna - after a day on the slopes, you can leave your outdoor gear in the ski room, jump in the shower and head for the sauna to relax before dinner.
After dinner, grab some popcorn and get together to watch a film in the home cinema!
The beautiful living area of Chalet Frontflip invites you to get together for a chat on the squishy corner sofa or enjoy a meal together at the huge dining table. There are three double bedrooms, two of which have their own balconies, and younger children will love the bunk room, which sleeps four.
There's plenty of parking at the chalet, as well as a double tandem garage, but the proximity to the bus stop and the village means you won't have to use your car if you'd prefer not to.
